Instantly write changes to storage

Problem Description

Issue

Our server has crashed 3 times in a short period (probably our mistakes with the mods or something), but when the server then restarts automatically we loose about 5 min of play time. Is there an option to instantly write the changes to disk instead of keeping it in ram/cache? Is this a minecraft config or a hostinger config.

Reproduction Steps

  • Let the server crash :slight_smile:
  • Restart server
  • playtime gone

Under Configuration → Server Settings, is “Use Synchronous IO” turned on? If not, turn it on. If so, there’s nothing further you can really do.

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately, the feature was already enabled. I’ll monitor the situation to see if the issue persists (and I will try to NOT crash the server again). Thankfully, losing only 5 minutes of playtime isn’t too significant.
