Trying to backup DUCKCRAFT (DUCKCRAFT01)

Problem Description

Issue

Following errors occurs… a file is still created.
Unable to complete task
This task could not be completed: Creating Backup - mending1 (1715 MB) - State: 3.

AMP was unable to backup one or more files. This is typically caused by the application running while taking a backup, but can be caused by multiple issues. Attempt the backup again while the application is stopped if this continues.

Tried restarting instances as well as AMP

Reproduction Steps

  • name the back up, press create backup, error occurs
  • press CREATE BACKUP
  • Error occurs
  • A file is still created but i don’t know if its a complete backup.

The partial backup file remaining in the list has been patched in the next update as far as I’m aware. (you can delete it manually in the backup manager)
You can right click the instance in the main panel, then press View Logs to see what files failed to back up.
You can also do what it says, and see if stopping the server prevents the error from happening.

I have stopped the servers.
I have restart APC.
Still getting the errors.
I’ll check the logs again see where it stops but it wasn’t apparent to me last time.
Deleting the partials isn’t a problem.
I’m not sure how back up and instance without managing the instance and the instance stopped but i will look again. i will report back

You’d remove the help.yml file and see if that helps

Renaming didn’t fix. Downloaded and trashed the file.
was able to complete backup by removing that file.
Not sure if that file is important to something. Guess i’ll find out.

Pretty sure that’s a legacy file part of Bukkit that goes largely unused nowadays
