Task

changing backup location to other disk

Problem Description

Issue

backup disk is set on /mnt/backup
and used /mnt/backup/amp_backups/ as location

Reproduction Steps

  • Mount the harddrive to /mnt/backup
  • Follow the “How to change backup locations”
  • Tab is no longer visible in the instance that i configered (including the tab in the ‘Configuration’)

Did you give the amp Linux user the correct permissions in that directory with:
sudo chown -R amp:amp /mnt/backup/amp_backups/

i did but there is no difference

Did you restart the instance after changing that?

yes, i restarted the machine too
