Task

Make the server go to sleep

Problem Description

Issue

The server doesn’t go to sleep when i click the sleep button. Ive tried altering the sleep delay setting after someone leaves the server, and have tried restarting the server , but neither of these have fixed the issue. It randomly stopped sleeping after the server went empty, causing the game events to run unwantedly in the background, this prompted me to try the methods above.

Reproduction Steps

  • Restart server
  • Change automatic sleep delay
  • Try to manually sleep

What type of Minecraft server is it? Not all types are compatible with sleep. In particular those that can’t be connected to with an un-modified client.

It is a modded minecraft java edition server, it is just odd as sleep was working for about a month before these issues started.
