Stop server from consistently crashing

Problem Description

Issue

Server will crash without any “can’t keep up” messages. Normally I would simply start it again through AMP but whenever I try to load it it says “Connection Interrupted” and I am forced to reboot the entire VPS through the Hostinger panel. All normal crashes have been fixed and no crash logs are generated when this happens.

Reproduction Steps

  • Start Server
  • Server crashes after x hours
  • Open AMP terminal
  • Cannot open AMP terminal
  • Reboot VPS on Hostinger

Just a note, we are not Hostinger, this is the forum for AMP.
Sounds like the VPS doesn’t have enough juice for the MC server, or the server needs to be tweaked to lower it’s CPU usage.

I would think so, but the server doesn’t crash; I just lose all access. The VPS condition page reports all functional, but when I attempt to access the IP, it just loads forever. What worries me is that there are no crash reports, so it’s like the plug gets pulled, and the server doesn’t even know what happened. Is there any information I could provide to help you help me?

Best I can suggest is to read through the instance’s log (right click and hit “view logs”) to see if there’s anything weird in there, then look into the Spark plugin/mod to see what’s using up the most CPU on the server so you can mitigate that.
