Minecraft server already started and running, but I can't connect to the server

OS Name/Version: Windows 10

Product Name/Version: AMP ‘Triton’ 2.3.3.0

Problem Description: I want to host an RLCraft Minecraft server through Hostinger, the server is already running, but when I want to connect, it won’t let me connect.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1: Downloaded the server pack from curse forge.
  • Step 2: Already done everything necessary for starting a forge server (e.g: changing the server type to forge, uploaded the server pack to the hostinger file)
  • Step 3: Server is up and running, but can’t connect to the server.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

  • Reinstalling the server more than a few times.
  • restarting my router (through IPconfig command).
  • contacting the help support from hostinger (doesn’t really help).
  • java is fully updated.

Have been trying to get this to work since yesterday, please help me.

Are others able to connect

Hi Ashley,

I actually solved it, and it’s because I didnt add the server port at the end of the IP Address. I felt pretty dumb after finding it out haha
