Minecraft Java server not listening on game ports

OS Name/Version: Windows 11 Home 24H2

Product Name/Version: v2.6.2

Problem Description: Started server, shows not listening on game ports. have port forwarding set up

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1 installed homestead modpack server pack
  • Step 2 started server
  • Step 3 tried to connect with client, said could not connect with server
  • Step 4 checked mgr, showed server was not listening to game ports for no discernible reason

Actions taken to resolve so far: none because idk what to do

This is a bug in v2.6.2, the solution is to change the port manually in the server.properties file
