Problem Description

Issue

Im trying to upload files to make a modded minecraft server but these upload speeds make it horrible and excruciating to even try. I dont know if its normal or not but its running at around 15 kb/sec. I’m also struggling to find how to reset the seed to a random one

Reproduction Steps

  • I’ve tried rar files, zip files, and dragging the files as a group
  • trying to drag a new world file in and its super slow, same thing happened with mods
  • trying to upload a new world file because of an error that my current one has

Use SFTP for larger file uploads. (Connection details in the upper right, use WinSCP or FileZilla)
For the random seed you just change it to blank in the settings and delete/rename the old world folder.
