Task

I am trying to create a forge minecraft server.

Problem Description

Issue

I tried to make a minecraft 1.16.5 server with forge 36.2.34 and some mods and i can’t join the server.

Reproduction Steps

  • Changed the server type to forge 36.2.34 minecraft 1.16.5
  • The server instantly crashed after starting so i changed the server start jar to “minecraft_server.jar” because it crashed with the forge one
  • uploaded my mods through filezilla and also my world, tried to join again and same error

Leave the Jar as Autoselect, because the minecraft_server.jar file is the vanilla Jar, so the mods will not load.
You need to select Java 8 or Java 11 under Java and Memory to run Forge 1.16.5
