trying to change minecraft server versions from fabric to spigot

Problem Description

Issue

i use the build in download/update button in Configuration>Minecraft>Server and Startup and im not getting the server jar

Reproduction Steps

  • Download/update form fabric to spigot
  • Its compiling spigot
  • no server .jar so i cant start the server

Use Paper instead, it’s more performant than Spigot and supports the same (and more) plugins. Paper also doesn’t have to be compiled inside the instance
