Minecraft getsockopt error

Problem Description: I can join my Minecraft server but others cant (They get the getsockopt error) things like port checkers cant even find it. I’ve been trying for weeks and I just need help

Steps to reproduce:

  • try to join on different network
  • redo port forwarding
  • use mcsrvstat.us

Actions taken to resolve so far:

I’ve looked for weeks tried port forwarding again and again. Watched countless videos and read tons of articles.

Does the WAN IP in your router match the same IP that you get when you google “what is my IP”?

It matches my windows computer not the server.

Not sure what you mean by that. Make sure you’re using your public IP address when testing externally.
