Security Problem Description

Issue

Just wanted to find a way to use minecraft forge without plugin and have an animated server icon. Though by doing that I found a way to start a server from the “run.sh” (or “run.bat”) file which could be kinda problematic. It could allow access to part users should’t be allowed to, including the computer itself (yeah … i know it use a container, but their is always a way to).

  • Creating a start.jar file (won’t explain how… but easy)
  • Editing startup parameters to use this file
  • Edit with anything you want “run.sh” (or other similar startup files. I tested on a minecraft container).
  • Start the server from AMP

PS : Don’t really know where to put this. So I’ll just post it in Technical Support. Sorry if it’s not the best place.
