Minecraft Fabric Mods are not uploading

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 24.04.2

Product Name/Version: AMP Release “Phobos” v2.6.2

Problem Description:
Every time I try to download a fabric mod or drag many mods together into the mod folder, it shows a check, and then nothing happens (the mod folder is still empty). Yes, the server is fabric. Yes, the versions match up. Yes, when I go into the game, it runs smoothly. Please help me.

  • Step 1
    Download mods
  • Step 2
    Drag mods into mod folder
  • Step 3
Be frustrated because no mods in mod folder

Actions taken to resolve so far:
I’ve tried to copy and paste the mods into the folder. I’ve tried to zip all the mods into a folder and then put it into the mod folder and unzip it (it just kept on loading when the folder was put into the mod folder). I have tried almost everything

Which File Manager are you using? The ADS File Manager or the instance’s File Manager?

I am pretty sure the ADS file manager. I honestly have no idea what I’m doing and just following this YouTube video; if you’d like to see which one it is, search up “Building a $100 Minecraft Server! (2025)”. It’s by Tech By Matt, and I’m currently on the 28:45 timestamp. If you need any more information, please let me know.
