Task

Im trying to connect to the SFTP to transfer files

Problem Description

Issue

i attempt the above steps after ensuring that my ports ranging from 2223 to 2400 are open on my local machine and that 2FA as well as biometric authentications are OFF.

ive also ensured that the password is put in properly, and created a new user instance with a different password to troubleshoot (using those login credentials for WinSCP)

any help would be so very much appreciated im at a loss here and i really need to transfer a lot of files

Reproduction Steps

  • go to file manager
  • select “connect to SFTP”
  • WinSCP starts after clicking on the link after “full address”

Are you using a domain proxied through cloudflare for the SFTP connection?

Im sorry, i dont know what you mean by this. I use a domain that i paid for, when setting up AMP it asked me what domain i wanted to use and i set it to panel.insertdomainnamehere.com

If your DNS is handled and proxied through cloudflare it will not point to the right IP.
Is the system in your local network or some dedicated server/VPS?

You can just use the local IP of the AMP machine in that case, otherwise you need to port forward the SFTP ports
