Im not sure what “CPU Usage” means when it outputs a number of 190% - 150%

Problem Description

Issue

I don’t have an issue so to say, just would like to know what it could mean when my “CPU Usage” outputs a number of 190%.
It ussually spikes when there is some sort of a new activity (player joining/leaving, etc.).
However it dose happen when the server is just idle but much more rarely.
I’m not certain if its my CPU overclocking or something. Or if its not being able to output numbers below 1 (so 0.1, 0.39, etc.). Would like to know the reason so i could address it accordingly!

Reproduction Steps

  • Booting up server
  • CPU Usage Spikes
  • CPU decreases
  • repeat on new event

Yeah that’s due to having the Multicore CPU usage calculation setting enabled. Each 100% would be one core/thread’s worth of CPU usage.
The usage spikes would be due to chunkloading in Minecraft, as that’s a heavy (mostly-singlethreaded) operation. As long as the server’s TPS is around 18-20 it’s nothing to worry about though.
