Minecraft can't connect to server

Hello,

I create a server for minecraft, i put some mods inside the file manager, i created a carpet named mods and put them there, I adjust the game version to the one I’m using and also put it that is forge, after doing all that I started minecraft and took the ip address and put it on minecraft but minecraft said can’t connect to the server,

Is there something else I’m missing?

Any one knows.

Carpet is a Fabric mod, so that may not work as intended.
With the networking side of things, you’ll need to share more about your setup and how you installed AMP.
