Problem Description:

There’s this player/bot that I can’t get rid of. Tried banning, tried making a firewall rule locally but it keeps filling up my slots on the MC server:

Steps to reproduce:

Actions taken to resolve so far:

Tried banning the player, it 's in the banned .json, but name and IP.
Tried putting server into whitelist mode
Tried putting up firewall rules locally

Just to note: Those “slots” don’t reflect the limit on the MC server, just a visual glitch in AMP. (AMP just reads the logs, it doesn’t query the MC server for this info)

Notes on a solution: Mike just needs to update the MC Regex to account for this weird edge case.

Notes on this particular bot: It’s been seen pretty much everywhere, and it’s coming back to the same server address repeatedly, so the person managing it ain’t too bright. (as long as you’re up to date, you’re fine, tis just a pain in the arse)

You’ve done all the right things, the common connection message seems to show every “attempt” now, which I don’t remember it doing in the past (could be remembering wrong though)
