Minecraft Bedrock Instance won't start after AMP update to v2.4.4

OS Name/Version: Debian 10

Product Name/Version: AMP Release “Decadeus” v2.4.4

Problem Description: (Minecraft Bedrock Edition hosted by Hostinger) I updated the “panel” (AMP) to v2.4.4, and now the Minecraft Bedrock Edition instance my kids and I play on is unavailable. I can start the instance, but if I then try to manage it, it will pop up a message stating “The specified instance is not running.” I’m a complete novice at running a server, so I don’t know how to troubleshoot this or what commands I could run in the console to provide more information.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

Rebooted the “VPS” - I assume this is the virtual machine itself on which my game server instances reside.

Check the logs of the specific instance (right click - view logs)

Thank you for your help. This is the latest log:

It’s telling you what to do in the last line there

This is actually something I saw before. I don’t know the credentials for the user account “amp” so I tried it with root and simply get this output/prompt:

Access to AMP has been part of my subscription to this hosting service since day 1; why do I need a license key all of a sudden?

You switch to the amp user by running su -l amp

If this is a rented server, you need to contact your hosting provider for support. It’s also worth pointing out that the AMP instance manager is out of date by quite a long way (which implies the OS hasn’t been updated since September last year either)

I updated aptinstmgr to version 2.4.3.6 but that didn’t change the license key thing. I’ll see if I can find an answer at the hosting service. Thank you, Mike.
