Failed to install instance manager. Aborting...
Possible causes for this are an unsupported distribution, or the repository being in the middle of a sync. In which case wait 30 minutes and try again,
re-running the same installation command.

Something went wrong during the installation. Would you like to upload your setup log for easy sharing?
This will upload /root/getamp-20251220-105520.log to the hastebin service and give you a URL you can share.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1: Follow installation instructions on “download” page
  • Step 2: Set username and password followed by n, y, y, n for preferances
  • Step 3: Press enter to run installation

Actions taken to resolve so far: Tried this earlier and the error message said it might be “repository being in the middle of a sync” and to wait 30 minutes. I have waited and retried a couple more times and same issue still occurs.
