Problem Description: error message when trying to update instance

Steps to reproduce:

• Step 1 stop instance
• Step 2 update amp
• Step 3 select “I have taken a backup”

What does the console tab say? Best guess would be that you’ve got modified files in the repo. If that’s the case simply delete the files it complains about.

“error: object file .git/objects/cf/3a66ac396b4e14c0ca66e55fb22d6c70ab192b is empty” you wouldn’t happen to know how to find said file or pinpoint it?

That’s an oddball one. It’s in /home/amp/.ampdata/instances/ADS01/Plugins/ADSModule/DeploymentTemplates/CubeCoders-AMPTemplates - try deleting that directory entirely.
