Installing AMP on Debian or Ubuntu Server?

Hi everyone, I decided to reinstall my operating system and ran into a question. Which is better for Docker Podman, Ubuntu or Debian? Which will have the fewest issues with packages, etc.? Are there any new recommendations for 2026?

p.s.: In my case, I work with Valheim and Vintage Story servers.

CubeCoders recommend Debian. Ubuntu Server is fine too and is more user-friendly if you plan to spin up more homelab services. But AMP will install and run fine on Debian out-of-the-box (or out-of-the-script, if you will :wink: )
