Possible causes for this are an unsupported distribution, or the repository being in the middle of a sync. In which
case wait 30 minutes and try again, re-running the same installation command.
Something went wrong during the installation. GetAMP has saved an installation log at:
/root/getamp-20260720-200505.log
The log file may contain sensitive information such as username, any supplied domain names or your systems hostname so
if in doubt - check the file manually before sharing it.

Steps to reproduce:

  • bash <(wget -qO- getamp.sh) to start the install
  • then entered in username and password
  • chose muy install oprtions and pressed enter to start install

Actions taken to resolve so far:

I have tried running it a few times like it reccomends in the text incase there was a sync happing

Have you checked the log?

I actually jumped in the Discord about an hour after posting this and got a bunch of help there that got me past this issue.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.
