I am unable to update my existing minecraft instance to 1.21.11

OS Name/Version: NAME=“Debian GNU/Linux”
VERSION_ID=“13”
VERSION=“13 (trixie)”

Product Name/Version: Folia

Problem Description: I am unable to update my existing minecraft instance to 1.21.11.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1: Configuration > Minecraft > Server and Startup > Server Type > Folia: Download/Update.
  • Step 2: Scan for new JARs.
  • Step 3: No new JARs have been added.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

Swapped from Folia to Official and tried to download that.

Swapped to paper and tried that.

Made a new minecraft instance and got this error upon startup: This task could not be completed: Downloading server update. - The specified version of the Official server. - State: 3. Resource temporarily unavailable piston-data.mojang.com/

I’ve tested that I can ping google.com from the console and the target VMs.

My one other instance of minecraft did update to 1.21.11, I don’t want to mess with it for fear of it breaking as well but I can.

From those errors it sounds like the instance is unable to reach the download endpoints for whatever reason.
Try stopping+starting that MC instance from the main panel page, then give things another try

I believe I’ve rebooted the VM already but not just the specific instance. I’ll give that a shot thanks!
