Simply trying to figure out how to set up a new account so the license manager has something to work with. It will not take an email address that does not exist (contrary to documentation), and I don’t see anywhere to set one up.

Click on the Purchase button for the licence you want. The licence is associated with the email used with the purchase, such as the primary email on your PayPal account
You don’t set up an account, you just buy it and an account is created based on what you supply during checkout / use as the email for your payment provider.
