How do enble cheats on my minecraft server?

hi everyone,

i was trying to enable cheats on my minecraft multiplayer server.
Normaly this is a server setting but i cant seem to find it.
i think i need this setting to be able to go in spectator and creative mode. because now i get a meesage that i dont have permission to do so.

any solutions for this or is that just not possible?

You are reffering to a client singleplayer setting. On a server you need to be OP. op <YourPlayerName>
