I can connect to the instance via PC, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get it to show up on the xbox community server list. Because xbox cannot connect directly via IP, the only way to connect to the server is if it shows up on the list. I have forwarded ports, tried changing the name and a half dozen other things. Using google, it seems that some people have gotten their server to show up on the community server list, but I’m not sure if they were using amp or not. Others have not been able to figure out how to make it work.
Mine shows up on the xbox community server list.
I turned on Make Community Server, set the public IP selection mode to Manual, input my Server Public IP (I’ve used both my own IP address for this, as well as a playit.gg address, both worked fine), and then set a server password. Probably the server password wasn’t required, but I setup palworld specifically for a community of friends. We didn’t want randoms joining us.
Thank you so much, that got the game on the community servers list. However, now I’m getting an error message that says that the connection timed out. Tried resetting, no luck. I could still connect from my PC.
Do you have Enable Authentication turned on? I don’t know that that will do it, I’m just taking a shot in the dark at this point.
And under Gameplay, do you have Enable Multiplayer turned on?
