OS Name/Version: Window 10
Product Name/Version: AMP v2.6.5.2 / Minecraft Java Server
Problem Description:
Attempting to create a Minecraft server using a host machine running Windows 10 that can be accessed by friends not on my network. I have downloaded AMP and Java on the host machine.
Starting an instance of minecraft I was able to join with another machine on the same network, but now I am attempting to figure out how to make it public. I know I need to port forward something somehow but I use a router that is connected to another router. What should the port forwarding look like on the first router to point it towards the second? Here is a screenshot of the port forwarding table it gives me.
Do I need to change any settings in the AMP game panel?
I really appreciate any help with this. I am totally out of my game with this networking stuff.
Steps to reproduce:
- Step 1: Download AMP
- Step 2: Struggle through hundreds of techno-babble forum posts
- Step 3: Give up and post your own begging for help
Actions taken to resolve so far: Struggle
