Having panel login issues and could use a hand

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 20.04

Product Name/Version: AMP 2.4.8

Problem Description:
After installing AMP, I have been having issues staying logged in. If I refresh the page, I have to login again and sometimes it just hangs or shows me a box saying the browser cache needs to be cleared due to an update. Also, sometimes when I log in it goes straight to the performance monitor and doesn’t have an instances tab.

It’s getting to the point where I can’t even see the output of the console. It just says “You do not have permission to use this method (GSMyAdmin.WebServer.Start) at this time. This method requires the Session.Exists permission.”

Steps to reproduce:

  • Login
  • Refresh page
  • Login again, or at least try to (usually hangs at this point)

Actions taken to resolve so far:

  • Run ampinstmgr upgradeall
  • Reboot server

Try turning off “Session IP stickiness” in the configuration.

Thanks Mike, seems to be working like a charm now. I guess it’s because I’m on my work network and my IP is all over the place.
