Hello,
After the last major update, something broke with my deployments and their IP address configurations. I migrated this AMP config from another server that used a different IP. Old network was 172.x.x.x and new network is 10.x.x.x. On my web console “instances” screen, the instances show the old 172 address. This also appeared in the “Status” screen when managing the instance. However “Ampinstmgr -l” would show the correct IP address.
I stopped the instance and manually modified the AMPConfig.conf file for one instance to have the correct IP for the AMP.PrimaryEndPoint setting. I restarted AMP via the web console. Once the instance is started, this resulted in the instance “Status” screen showing “No port information available”. I even tried reactivating the license for all instances.
I am at a loss as to why the console is showing the old 172.x address at all. I am even at a further loss on how the instance is getting configured to use it.
Thanks!
UPDATE 7-8-2025
Even though the status screen in the instance still shows “No port information available”, I am able to connect to the Minecraft Bedrock game. I do not understand how it is working, but I guess editing the file resolved the issue even though the web console does not show any accurate IP information.
