Getting Error with Steam-Games link CS2 / CSGO etc

OS Name/Version: Debian 12.7

Product Name/Version: Currently running version 2.5.1.8 - 20240917.2

Problem Description:

Hello Guys,

i get with all the Steam Games the following error. Maybe i made something wrong when i installed the Gameserver Node.

Could not find a part of the path ‘/AMP/csgo/740/csgo/mmsource-1.11.0-git1153-linux.tar.gz’.

Here is the Output of the Console:

Steps to reproduce:

It is a fresh installed AMP, i dont know, if it is possible to reproduce it. I Think i forgot something to configure.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

Searching on the server if that tar packae is somewhere else, but could not find it.
What i found in the Steam Community: 0x202 that means no space left, but there is a lot of Space…

If i forgot to read a FAQ or a Install-Guide, plz teall me so, then i will read it.

Thanks for helping out.

You are out of disk space, specifically on your root partition where /home is

Check out: df -h

Hi Greelan,

Like i wrote before, it’s enoth space left.
/home has it’s own partition.

Greetz

SteamCMD says otherwise. Show the output of that command?

Here is That Output

CS:GO is about 33GB to install, CS2 about 41GB …

Ehm no, and it doesn‘t matter. When I add space —> same error. It should start, that’s not like windows.

And not all the steam games need so much space.

Even if I try to install it on an additional Disk with one TiB. Same error.

Does AMP cache the gameserver data at /home even if another disk is specified as the installation path?

I’m not going to argue with you when the facts are plain to see.

Arguing?

I just asked if the data is cached in /home.

Sorry but I´m not a small kid. My Servers have not the click click installation.

But I solved it. The software is a bit buggy.

For All that people who wants a solution.

If you have a node with an extra Datastore, the installation is under “/home”, AMP ignores the configuration for Datastores, even if the Default-Datastore is deactivated. To set the priority doesn’t change anything too.

No Problems with Minecraft and other Software, only with Steam-Games this happens.

For me, that’s not so nice to install everything under /home. But I have to live with it.

Thanks for helping out Greelan
