Garry's Mod Server Unable to Run after update

Note - If you do not fill in every section below, your post won’t be answered - you must provide the steps you have followed so far and the actions you’ve already taken. Make sure to remove this notice from your post too.

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Product Name/Version: AMP v2.4.4

Problem Description:
Hi, I currently operate a few Garry’s mod servers that I self-host using AMP to manage them. Recently I updated all my amp instances to v2.4.4 and after that update, all of my gmod servers will not start. When I click the start button, I get “Application State: unable to start” Almost immediately, and no logging output. I did notice this one error when trying to update SRCDS:

Loading Steam API...dlmopen steamservice.so failed: steamservice.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The update says it’s successful though despite the error but I wonder if they are related.

I have all the servers running in docker containers.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1: Start instance
  • Step 2: Attempt to start server

Actions taken to resolve so far:

  • Reauth all servers
  • Change the networking adapter route
  • Reboot servers
  • Delete Docker images to force repull
  • Restart host server
  • Confirmed that start-up map exists in file system (both on host and mounted in docker container)

Happy to provide more information if needed, any help is appreciated.

Thank you!
