Problem Description:
Unable to install and run an instance of Satisfactory.
Instance is running, but unable to download/install game files.

SteamCMD is unable to connect | Reason unknown:

Steps to reproduce:

  • Loging into AMP webinterface as admin (default)

  • Create instance of Satisfactory - After Creation: Start Instance, Start instance on boot: false

  • Starting application (from instance pannel)

  • Console puts out an error from steamcmd bad token | unable to connect

Actions taken to resolve so far:

Multiple fresh installs of the system
Changed platform from Debian 10 LTS to Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS
Reconfigured AMP multiple times
Checked port forwarding
DNS zone reset
Tested it with multiple games that require steamcmd to download eg. CSGO, Risk of Rain 2

This doesn’t look like an AMP issue, could be caused by any number of things such as bad DNS that’s causing SteamCMD to not be able to talk to the Steam servers.
