Problem Description

Issue

I used to run severs on a windows PC with steamcmd. I set up my servers and modified games settings files in notepad to make it how I want it to be. I recently got a Homelab server and installed AMP on proxmox thinking I would move my servers to that. I bought the Advanced Edition to get everything. I got it all installed and tried to move my first game server Palworld over. I made a Palworld instance, started it and tried it. It worked. I stopped the sever and used WinSCP to copy/overwrite the saved game files and configs with my game files. It looks like the saved game files worked but the config files always revert to default. How do I get AMP to read my already configured server settings? This also happened on ARK so it doesn’t seem to be game specific.

Reproduction Steps

  • Copy configs to game dir with WinSCP
  • Start server
  • Check configs that were just copied and they go back to default settings

AMP controls the file based on the settings in its UI (under the Palworld menu). So input the settings there
