Friends unable to join mc server

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu/24.04.3 LTS

Product Name/Version: AMP v2.6.3

Problem Description: when I send the ip and port to my friend to put into Minecraft, it doesn’t let him establish a connection to the server

  • Step 1 copied the ip and port and sent it over to him
  • Step 2 pasted the address into Minecraft

Actions taken to resolve so far: changed the port number.
