First time setting up AMP for a minecraft server, cannot connect to finish setup

OS Name/Version: Ubuntu / hosted on Oracle Cloud

Product Name/Version: ubuntu ver 22.04

Problem Description: trying to run AMP server panel for the first time so my friends can run it whilst im away, but upon trying to complete the first time setup i cannot access the I.P addresses to finish the setup

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1 Installing forge, java, etc to the server
  • Step 2 try installing amp from Amp install
  • Step 3 tried on chrome and firefox, from both addresses given.

Actions taken to resolve so far: completely terminate 1st server instance and to a fresh install.

tried to reinstall AMP aswell, to no avail.

Did you follow the Oracle Cloud specific tutorial that the installer links you to?

yes I did, to a Tee and it might just be a issue on my part coz i’ve never touched linux in my life so… not sure.
