Firewall not working on Debian / can't retrieve game ports

OS Name/Version: Debian 13

Product Name/Version: Amp 2.8

Problem Description:

Hello,

I just bought a license from you and am currently trying to set up my first amp server. Sadly I came across an issue regarding the firewall setup.

I am using Debian 13 with ufw. The apps do run fine and ports are being bound, but amp doesn’t return any information about the game ports when using ampinstmgr.

$ ampinstmgr ports beastmine
[Info/1] AMP Instance Manager v2.8 built 25/06/2026 23:15
[Info/1] Stream: Mainline / Release - built by CUBECODERS/buildbot on CCL-DEV
[Info/1] Port usage for beastmine01 (beastmine)
[Info/1] Instance is currently running.
[Info/1] LISTENING 8081 TCP (Core.Webserver.Port)

Also no firewall rules are being made. I tried running ampinstmgr updatefirewall, but it does nothing.

# ampinstmgr updatefirewall
[Info/1] AMP Instance Manager v2.8 built 25/06/2026 23:15
[Info/1] Stream: Mainline / Release - built by CUBECODERS/buildbot on CCL-DEV
[Info/1] Using iptables firewall.
[Info/1] No new firewall rules to add
[Info/1] No existing firewall rules to remove
[Info/1] Firewall is already up-to-date, no changes necessary.

I don’t mind setting up the firewall rules myself. Is there a way to retrieve the ports of all running applications using ampinstmgr?

I would also like to know where I can find more detailed documentation on ampinstmgr. The only thing I found was this https://discourse.cubecoders.com/t/amp-instance-manager-command-line-reference/2249 which isn't exactly more detailed than the help switch the tool contains itself.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Start amp
  • Configure Instance
  • Run ampinstmgr updatefirewall or ampinstmgr ports
