Possible causes for this are an unsupported distribution, or the repository being in the middle of a sync. In which case wait 30 minutes and try again, re-running the same installation command.

Something went wrong during the installation. Would you like to upload your setup log for easy sharing?
This will upload /root/getamp-20260721-090648.log to the hastebin service and give you a URL you can share.

The log file may contain sensitive information such as username, any supplied domain names or your systems hostname so if in doubt - check the file manually and upload it yourself.

Actions taken to resolve so far: i havent taken any except for a few google ai answers that i do not remember, willing to redo those steps anyways if they come up here

It looks like at some point you damaged your Debian installation and can’t install/update packages in general. This just looks like a dead system. You’ve got a tonne of pending OS package updates waiting. Unless you know how to deal with this kind of situation the only practical advice I can offer is to rebuild the system.

that worked, thank you, after that i just kept re-running the installer until it worked
