DirectX Runtime, C++ Issues with Soulmask

im still getting the message “A required runtime is missing. This is likely to be a C++ or DirectX runtime. You can install them by running ampinstmgr DownloadCPPRuntime in an elevated command prompt.”

  • Step 3:

Actions taken to resolve so far:

  • Step 1: installed instance

  • Step 3:i ran ampinstmgr DownloadCPPRuntime` in an elevated command prompt
  • Step 4: rebooted Hardware
  • Step 5:same results

The message is a red herring.

Still getting the same message with it

I suggest installing the MS VS C++ 2015-2022 redistributable and the DirectX end user runtime yourself and then restarting the system
