Like on Discord, Direct/Private messages have been disabled across the forum. They were actually supposed to be disabled from the outset.
Aside from being potentially unwelcome and intrusive (especially since they generate emails and notifications without regard to the recipients time zone or availability), messages in DMs that pertain to AMP discussions aren’t visible to other users to benefit from. So they’ve been turned off.
