Task
After an update, the DayZ server restores mod files that had been deleted earlier.
Problem Description
Issue
If I delete a mod while the server is stopped and also remove the trash files, then after a later update all deleted data of the mod reappears, even though the mod is no longer listed in the update list. How can I delete the data so that it does not come back after a server update?
Reproduction Steps
- Stop DayZ server
- Delete mod files with file manager, then also delete the trash files
- Goto to list with the mod files. Delete Steam ID of the mod from the list.
- Update the DayZ server (Steam update)
- You will see previously deleted mod files in the file manager again. They seem to be persistant.
