Hello everyone. I’m a new happy AMP fan and I´m running three Dayz servers with up to 60 modifications and I’m glad that it runs so stable and cleanly under Linux debian.
Now to my problem: If a mod update is available via steam cmd, the server should. 1. Notify players about the upcoming update. 2. Stop the server and install the update. 3. Restart the server.
However, that doesn’t work at the moment. I have already made the following configuration. In the dayz instance I entered the mod IDs under load mods. Also under updates / steam Workshop item. The mods are also initialized cleanly.
I initialized a time trigger in the scheduler. “Application - Check for available updates via SteamCMD” every 30 minutes.
I installed a second event trigger; “An update is available via SteamCMD”. “Notification of Players”. “Stop the application”, “update the application”, “restart the application”.
As far as I can tell, the triggers don’t work that way yet. Under “updates”, “steam downloads” I can only enter my Steam password. Not my username.
And when I initiate a manual update, my access data is requested every time. User + PW. What am I doing wrong? Is this function even possible in AMP?
