Problem Description

Issue

I go into the panel access and login, I click security and privacy, I enable allow user defined password, use random password, persist random password, type in a new admin password click save and it says I cant do it unless im in HTTPS or localhost

Reproduction Steps

  • Click security and permissions
  • uncheck persist random password and random password
  • enable allow user-defined passwords
  • save new remote admin password for RCON administer the server and click save
  • error stating “Using this feature requires that you are accessing AMP over HTTPS or via localhost.”
  • Additionally even using random password says incorrect for /adminpassword ingame

It’s telling you what to do. You need to configure AMP for HTTPS, so you also need a domain name as well.

So this is my first time using this kind of platform can you direct me where to configure that?
