Problem Description

Issue

I would like to change the world seed from the minecraft server im running but after all these modifications i just cant seem to figure out how. The world remains the same through different versions and seeds.

Reproduction Steps

  • Edited seed to 7522 in Configuration/server settings/world seed
  • changed world version
  • restarted vps

You change the seed under Configuration -> Server Settings, then you need to delete the world folder for it to take effect, as the seed is baked into the world files.
