Problem Description
Issue
Hello,
Resource guides say to just drag and drop .jar and .zip files into the “mods” folder. The mod-pack I am installing via curse forge has a lot more files then just the .jar mods. It has its own config, mods, and other file folders. I have dragged and dropped the mod-pack zip file (around 500 MB) into the main file directory.
I have a couple questions:
- is this the correct way to go about uploading a mod-pack?
- The ETA for download is around 11 hours, at a speed of about 12.5 KB a second. is this the fastest way to go about this?
For further reference I am downloading the “Better Minecraft 4” mod-pack, version 1.20.1.
Thank you.
Reproduction Steps
- set up server
- Specify forge version
- drag and drop modpack zip file into files
