Problem Description

Issue

Hello,

As part of the creation of a modded minecraft server. We’re trying to transfer the zipped modpack folder to the server’s “Instances” folder. Unfortunately, we found that the transfer speed was only 10kbit/s, which is very low given that the folder is 1.16GB.
We’ve tried transferring it via different wifi and different computers, but nothing changes.

We’re very disappointed with this mediocre transfer speed, and would like to know if it’s possible to increase it, or do something about it.

Sincerely,

Reproduction Steps

  • Go to File Manager
  • Go to the instances folder
  • Transfer modpack zipped file

Use SFTP for large transfers. The Web upload is only good for small config files etc.

Thank you very much, that was much quicker.
But now I have another problem. I’ve transferred the modpack to the server instances file. But when someone tries to connect, it shows that the mods in the modpack are not present on the server.
I hope you can help me.
Sincerely,

Be sure to set the server to the mod loader you’re using and the right version, otherwise AMP won’t know how you want the mods to run.
