Problem Description

Issue

I am trying to download a modpack called SkyFactory5, I tried different attempts, and each time the server ran, but it gave me an FML error saying to mods didn’t match. I input the server side files (didnt work) so i tried the client side in the server to see if it would match and that didnt work either.

Reproduction Steps

  • I downloaded the server side folder for skyblock 5
  • I added the folder inside AMPs file manager
  • It didnt work so I took out the folder and tried adding in the mods and configs manually
  • That also didnt work so I reset to the default settings

Download the server pack zip from the CurseForge website, under the Additional Files section. The server pack has all of the incompatible client-only mods removed so it’ll work.

Ok, I am trying to do the same thing.
I went through all the steps that are layed out in the ‘importing an existing server’ article.
I changed the server type to forge, the server and minecraft version match the modpack, the server JAR is on autoselect and the server seems to be running fine.
However when I add the server in minecraft (with the skyfactory 5 modpack) it says it can’t find the server.
Any tips?

NVM, figured it out, had a port setting to change on my router.
