Problem Description

Issue

i exported the mod pack from curseforge to the desktop. then Drag and drop the pack in a .zip file into the mod folder i created for the server. after geting everything up and running I join the Server saying its missing compatible mods

Reproduction Steps

  • need help exporting modpack .zip file
  • exported the modpack .zip file to desktop
  • drag and drop into server mods folder
  • updated minecraft forge launcher to the modpack version
  • got the server up and running. was able to connect with ip and port
  • then got disconnected due to server not having same mods as modpack

Make sure to read the log to see what mods are missing, they might’ve copied weird into the zip

If youre making a custom mod pack make sure you’re downloading Server Side Mod .Zip Files
I would also recommend looking on youtube how to find server .zip files for induvial mods. Curseforge make it easier with mod pack already listed there. Curseforge will have the client side & server side if published
