Problem Description

Issue

I have tried adding .jar and extracted zip files into the plugins folder in the file directory before and they have not worked which makes me think the problem is that the hostinger server is not reading the plugins directory properly

Reproduction Steps

  • uploaded DiscordSRV plugin as zip file to the plugins folder within the file directory
  • extracted the contents into a new directory within the plugins directory called ‘DiscordSRV’
  • I opened ‘DiscordSRV’ and then ‘config’ and then edited the en.yml file to include the settings from my Discord server
  • I restarted the server
  • I performed the correct steps in discord to add the bot. the bot appears in the discord server
  • and the discord channel added to en.yml does not repeat the actions from the minecraft server

Are you running a version of Minecraft (like Paper) that can load plugins? Vanilla can’t

I am currently running a Fabric server.

Fabric is a mod loader - it runs mods, not plugins.

Okay thank you. Any recommendations for java server types that still allow mods? Or will I have to choose either plugins or mods?
