Problem Description
Issue
Hello this is my first time making a modded mine craft server and ive watched your offical youtube video https://youtu.be/4uzpHQsufR8 and followed all the steps and have done many hours of research to try and get this to work. Im trying to play https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/bcg/files/5738220 this modpack and to my understanding this is what i need to play. everytime i try to join the server whilst running i get a error saying ( owo > handshake failure incompatable server ) I dont understand why it says this as i have followed everything changing the server type to fabric, making sure everything is on the same version etc. Would love some help as i just wanna play with some friends!
Reproduction Steps
- Followed official Hostinger Academy 2024 youtube guide
- Changed minecraft type to fabric
- added Server specific modpack
- made sure ALL versions of the game are the same
- tried to launch minecraft to connect to server
- Gets error msg as listed in description
