Problem Description

Issue

I have been at it for 5 hours trying to get the mods to work, we have completely redone the zip file for the mods and they are all there inside of my servers settings… yet they simply will not work ingame - what is going on?!

Reproduction Steps

  • waited over an hour for the zip file to download into the MODS folder location
  • extracted the files into the MODS folder location
  • updated server and started it up - putting in IP into (correct version) of Java MC … loaded into vanilla MC

If it’s a modded server - did you tell AMP that it’s a forge server and which version of forge to start?

yes, I put the correct forge version, downloaded the mods the exact way I was supposed to (I know they work because we tested them), updated and restarted the server and started it back - loaded in to a completely vanilla world

What does the support tab say for the startup arguments?

I fixed the mods, they work, server work(ed) (I had to completely reinstall all of the mods seperately into the mod folder - it did not support zip file),… but now it keeps crashing and it IS NOT the mods, its a connection issue on the host - the TPS is dropping and then the server crashes!?
I made a seperate post about that issue too…

Use the Spark profiler mod and read the log to see why the server may be crashing.
